Pete donates sailing dinghies to Antigua’s NSAA

Pete made a very generous personal donation to the National Sailing Academy of Antigua last Friday, when he presented the charity with six Laser Pico sailing dinghies. Pete was approached by a volunteer from the organization when he was on holiday, and agreed to help out the NSAA, whose sole purpose is to give free lessons in order to teach Antiguan school children how to swim and sail.

There is also a possibility that Pete may perform at a charity acoustic music festival in 2014 to benefit the Government of Antigua in its work to preserve the Antigua National Park at English Harbour and restore some its buildings. One of the goals of the festival will be to provide a public swimming pool on Antigua for the use of local people in order to learn how to swim, which doesn’t currently exist.
