Pete joined the Grateful Dead for a few songs during their set for the German 'Rockpalast' TV show. The Who had performed a full set earlier on the show.

May 30, 1981 - Brockwell Park, London

Concert arranged by the Trades Union Congress (TUC) as the culmination to the 'Peoples March For Jobs' campaign.

Pete performed in the house band for the Prince's Trust Rock Gala for various acts. He played front stage for 3 songs.

Pete joined Dire Straits on their encore song Going Home: Theme from Local Hero at the Prince's Trust Rock Gala.

Pete joined the Rolling Stones for a couple of songs at a private party to commemorate the death of Ian Stewart. Other guests included; Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jack Bruce and Simon Kirke.
